Margaret Rose Carp is a witch and a recurring character in The Hathaway Chronicles. She is the younger sister of Maria Wise and Madeline Carp. She is also the aunt of Amberly Wise, and is currently in a relationship with her former brother-in-law, Andrew Wise. Despite the two being together for roughly ten years, they had no children. Instead, she has been raising Amberly as her own.

She first appears at the Hathaway coven meeting in the chapter Stroke of Midnight but was unnamed. She sat on the side that was backing Jeff Moone initially. However, she and Andrew and the entire Carp family went against him in the end after he almost killed Samuel Rezza. In Crystal Eyes, she is present at the initiation of Lillian into the Rezza Coven, which she joined prior to the event. In Bloody Roses, Laura asked her to watch over Lily and Kenny, so she and Amberly came and stayed while the others tried to track Elle and Seana. In Your Lies, she is helping the group try and give tips to Cynthia and Laura since Seana was leaving a trail of bodies, causing newspapers to publish about them. When Cel had the phone on speaker with Scott and Zach, she reminded them to keep in close touch with Cynthia and Laura, as they were coming to New York to hopefully intercept Seana.
She was later seen at Eleanor's birthday celebration at Francis's house in No More Heartbreaks. In Just the Start, she was seen cheering with Andrew and the other adults at the graduation ceremony of her niece Amberly. They all later came to the graduation party at Laura's.
